Last month the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Ravenna has recorded an increment of piled +6.0% being to 1,8 million tons regarding 1,7 million tons in August 2013. The decrease of the -6,3% of the goods sand banks, come down to 980 thousand tons, more than is compensated by the increase of the liquid bulk volumes, attests to 446 thousand tons (+27.2%), of the goods containerized, that they have totaled 217 thousand tons (+13.0%), and of the traffic ro-ro, that has been pairs to 128 thousand tons (+54.3%).

In the first eight months of the 2014 port of Ravenna it has enlivened altogether 16,3 million tons, with a progression of +10.2% regarding 14,7 million tons in the period January-August last year. It disembarks have been pairs to 13,7 million tons (+8.8%) and it embarks it to 2,6 million tons (+18.2%). The goods sand banks is piled to a total of 10,4 million tons (+10.5%), of which 3,7 million tons of producing metalworkers (+19.0%, with quantitative consisting - the Harbour Authority of Ravenna has announced - the more coming always from the ports of Taranto, Novorossisk and Bremen), 2,8 million tons of minerals crudes oil, manufactured products and materials from construction (- 1.0%), 1,7 million tons of alimentary commodities (+1.8%), 1,0 million tons of producing agricultural (+42.1%), 941 thousand tons of composts (- 0.6%) and 166 thousand tons of fuel and solid minerals (+50.2%). The liquid bulk is increased of +1.5% 3,0 million to tons, of which 1,6 million tons of producing oil (+4.4%), 713 thousand tons of alimentary commodities (+4.1%) and 656 thousand tons of chemicals (- 6.5%).
