After the increment of recorded +7.6% last month of January, in the next months of February and March the traffic of the goods enlivened from the port of Genoa has shown increases respective of +4.4% and +12.1% going up altogether in the first trimester of 2017 to the 13,4 million one tons, with an increase of +8.1% regarding 12,4 million tons in the first three months last year.

The consisting rise more is marked by the goods several that in the first three months of this year has been attested 8,4 million to tons, with a progression of +12.2% on the first trimester of 2016. The sun goods containerized pairs to 6,2 million tons (+13.1%), volume have been that the new record for the first trimester of the year represents and that it is such even if the traffic is counted in number of container from 20 ' (teu) being enlivened 608,430 teu (+10.7%), while the goods conventional is piled to 2,2 million tons (+9.9%).

The volume of traffic of mineral oils is increased of +4.9% 3,8 million to tons, while that of the other liquid bulk is dropped of the -8,3% to 172 thousand tons, of which 120 thousand tons of chemicals (- 3.8%) and 51 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (- 17.4%).

In the section of the solid bulk, the traffic in the commercial field has been pairs to 150 thousand tons (- 35.9%) and that in the industrial field have been pairs to 708 thousand tons (+2.2%), of which 696 thousand tons of iron worker (+2.9%) and 12 thousand tons of other solid bulk (- 29.4%).

In the first three months of this year the traffic of the passengers has been of 263 thousand unit, down of the -10,1% on the same period of 2016, of which 104 thousand crocieristi (- fleeting 5.9%) and 158 thousand of the ferries (- 12.6%).

In the single freedom of expression of the 2017 genoese port it has enlivened almost 4,7 million tons of goods regarding than less 4,2 million tons in March 2016. In the segment of the goods several an increment of +14.3% of the volumes attested to 3,1 million tons is marked, of which 2,3 million tons of cargos in container (+14.4%) and 832 thousand conventional tons of goods (+13.9%). To March 2017 the port has established the own new absolute record of traffic salary of goods containerized having had enlivened almost 2,3 million tons of goods in container with a handling of containers pairs to 223.838 teu, given advanced to the precedence record than less 2,1 million recorded tons and 215,293 teu to May 2015.

Last month in the section of the liquid bulk, the mineral oils are increased of +10.2% 1,1 million to tons and in rise they have turned out also the other cargos liquids that have totaled 56 thousand tons (+6.7%), of which 49 thousand tons of chemicals (- to 3.1%) and 16 thousand tons of oils vegetables and wine (+53.2%). In increase, with 51 thousand tons (+7.8%), also the solid bulk in the commercial field, while in the industrial section the traffic has turned out stable being piled to 226 thousand tons of iron worker (+0.8%).

Last month the traffic of the passengers is diminished of -21,8% having totaled the 34 thousand one crocieristi (- fleeting 24.7%) and 51 thousand of the regular lines (- 19.7%).
