
In the first two months of 2025, Russian ports handled
135.5 million tons of goods, with a decrease of -5.7% on
first two months of last year. The association of ports
Russian commercial sector announced that in the first two months of this year
dry goods amounted to 64.5 million tons (-4.4%),
while liquid bulk cargo amounted to 71.0 million
tons (-6.8%).
Overall, export goods totalled
107.7 million tons (-5.1%), those imported 6.6
million tons (+1.7%), goods in transit 11.2 million
tons (-3.7%) and cabotage traffic was 9.9
million tons (-16.6%).
In the period January-February of 2025, traffic passed
through Russian ports in the Arctic basin was equal to
13.9 million tons (-7.1%). Goods handled by ports
Baltic Sea amounted to 44.9 million tonnes
(-1,0%). Traffic in the ports of the Azov-Black Sea basin is
was equal to 40.6 million tons (-12.5%). The ports of call
of the Caspian Sea handled 1.2 million tons (-27.7%)
and those of the Russian Far East 34.9 million tons
(-1,0%).
