
There are six projects funded by the call issued last November from the Authority of Harbour System of the North Tyrrhenian Sea that, in line with the objectives of decarbonization placed from the National Plan of Resumption and Resilience, previewed the concession of funds usable from the harbour enterprises to replace means for the handling of the goods and other vehicles powered by traditional fuels with means to integral electric propulsion or hydrogen for the reduction of the emissions of carbon dioxide.
To over a million euros the funds previewed for the ecological transition of the enterprises in the ports of Livorno and Piombino and, of the six projects included in the ranking for the admission to the contributions, five are destined to the ecological conversion of the port of Piombino and one is instead located in the port of Livorno, with subsidies to fund lost up to 300 thousand euros with resources of the PNRR- Next generation EU. Projects submitted by Piombino Logistics, Compagnia Portuali di Piombino, Piombino Port Security, Permare and Sintermar have been admitted to financing. The projects which have received the benefits must be completed and delivered by March 2026, consistent with the overall expiry of the PNRR.
