The maritime logistics index for the last quarter of 2014
2024 is equal to 215.9, with an overall increase in the costs of
+115.9% between January 2019 and December 2024. For the second trimester
of 2024 the index was equal to 242.0 and at the end of the year, therefore, it was
decreased by 26.1 points, a change - explained ECG - due to
mainly to a significant reduction in the tariffs of
time charter for Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) vessels.
The latest survey of railway logistics is equal to
130.6, showing an overall increase in costs of +30.6% between
January 2019 and December 2024. For the second quarter of 2024, it was
equal to 125.8 and at the end of the year marked an increase of 4.8 points
due to the increase in asset costs and
tariff increases in some of the eight countries analysed.
Finally, yard logistics accounted for the fourth
quarter of 2024 an index of 124.5, with an increase in
overall costs of +24.5% between January 2019 and December 2024.
For the second quarter of last year it was 121.0 and at the end of the year
2024 increased by 3.5 points, development - he explained

labor and asset costs.
