China To Import Goods Worth 1.5 Trillion By 2005, Trade Minister Says

BEIJING, Nov 30, 1999 -- (Agence France Presse) China is planning to import 1.5 trillion dollars worth of goods from 1999 to 2005, Trade Minister Shi Guangsheng said in a report Tuesday, coinciding with the opening of the WTO meeting in Seattle.
