African Port Guards Stealing from Vessels

TOO MANY armed guards provided to guard ships in African ports are stealing from the vessels they are paid to protect, the Maritime Liaison Office (MLO) said in a recent report.
The MLO, which is based in Bahrain, also said that there was increasing evidence that some watchmen were in league with pirates who try to steal from ships.
