Costa Crociere is considering increasing the 55,000 gt sisterships Costa Classica and Costa Romantica to some 75,000 gt. It would involve both lengthening the vessels by some 44.8 m and adding a deck the length of the ship. Passenger capacity in each ship would be upped to about 1,020 from the current 654.
