Anglo-Norwegian engineering group Kvaerner said yesterday that it had not yet decided how to to carry out its plan to quit ship-building, part of the sweeping overhaul of the firm announced last month.

Kvaerner has yards in countries ranging from Finland to the United States and in Singapore.
