Malaysia's Klang Container Terminal (KCT) has chalked up a 13 per cent growth in container traffic to 585,885 TEUs (20-ft equivalent units) for the first eight months of the year compared to the same period last year.

In August, the operator handled a record 85,483 TEUs, surpassing the previous high of 83,105 TEUs achieved in June.
