Rise in shipping rates benefits Nippon Yusen, Mitsui OSK and Kawasaki Kisen

Nippon Yusen KK (NYK Line), Japan's largest maritime shipping company, said first-half earnings surged 350.9 per cent as it raised rates and cut costs.
