The Indian unit of Britain's P&O Ports said on Tuesday it expects to reach full container handling capacity in four years at its port on India's west coast.
Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co bought the Mundra terminal for $195 million in June from Adani Group, the original developers.
The first ship is due to dock at the terminal at Mundra on Thursday, Mundra International Container Terminal Ltd's (MICTL) chief executive officer, Nikhil Naik told Reuters in a telephone interview from the container port
