Haifa port chief says it won't occur here

The terror attack yesterday at Ashdod port will not alter security arrangements at the Haifa port, Mendi Zeltzman, manager of the northern facility, said yesterday.

"Since December, every vehicle entering the port is checked meticulously," Zeltzman said. "Yesterday I stood in line at the port entrance because the guards insisted on checking a police vehicle and refused to let it through otherwise. Every few weeks, we conduct a drill simulating a terrorist infiltration to test the systems." ......
