BAHRAIN (GDN) - Ballast water carried by ships from across the world and emptied into Bahrain's waters could be endangering the local ecosystem, according to experts.

They said micro-organisms, alien plants and animals found in the water could harm indigenous marine life and even threaten economic activities such as fishing and water desalination plants ......
