Il Census and Statistics Department di Hong Kong ha reso noti oggi i dati statistici definitivi relativi al traffico registrato nel porto di Hong Kong nel primo trimestre di quest'anno. Complessivamente lo scalo ha movimentato 54,9 milioni di tonnellate di merci, con un calo del 2% rispetto ai primi tre mesi del 2006. Le importazioni sono ammontate a 32,4 milioni di tonnellate (-7%), le esportazioni a 22,5 milioni di tonnellate (+6%).
Il traffico dei container è stato pari a 5.392.000 teu, un volume analogo a quello movimentato nel primo trimestre dello scorso anno.
