ZCS Service Adding Genoa Call

ZIM is pleased to announce that starting September 2008 ZIM's long-standing ZCS service will add the port of Genoa to its routing, in addition to Livorno. The first vessel scheduled to call Genoa is M/V ZIM Beijing, ETA Genoa September 17th, 2008
This upgrade is intended to respond to the North West Italian market demand, and to offer improved, reliable and direct service between Italy and US East and West Coast.
As always, ZIM is providing a wide range of services for all cargo types, including standards, special equipment, project cargo and reefers (including cold treatment to New York and Los Angeles.) Inland connection will be granted by a network of “all truck” and “combined rail” options from the Intermodal Hubs.
ZCS service deploys 15 modern 5000 TEU's vessels, with weekly frequency, on the following routing:
Haifa - Livorno - Genoa - Barcelona - Halifax - New York - Savannah - Kingston - Panama Canal - Los Angeles - Oakland - Ningbo - Shekou - Hong Kong - Keelung - Balboa - Panama Canal - Kingston - Savannah - New York - Halifax - Barcelona - Haifa.
