En se défaisant de sa participation dans Gamatex, Vopak répond ainsi à l'exigence de la Commission européenne.
  • Renault/Nissan Diesel: une décision sur des coopérations ponctuelles est imminente
    Le Groupe Renault V.I./Mack (telle est la novvelle appelation depuis le début de cette année de Renault V.I.) a dévoilé à Amsterdam sa nouvelle gamme de camions mi-lourds (5/16 tonnes), les Midlum. A cette occasion le président du groupe, Patrick Faure, a annoncé qu'il va bientôt être possible de mettre sur pied les premières coopérations avec Nissan Diesel. Il a en effet confirmé qu'un accord entre les banques et le constructeur nippon est imminent, de sorte que des coopérations ponctuelles sont désormais envisageables. Rappelons que tant que cet accord sur la restructuration de la dette n'était pas conclu, le constructeur se refusait à s'engager dans ce processus d'alliance et s'en tenait à sa première étape, qui avait été la prise par la maison-mère Renault SA d'une participation de 22,5% dans Nissan Diesel.
  • La coopération Anvers-Zeebrugge est-elle dans l'impossibilité de devenir structurelle?
    Lorsque l'on évoque la coopération entre les ports d'Anvers et de Zeebrugge dans certains milieux anversois, on recueille l'impression qu'elle ne sera jamais structurelle. Nous avons eu l'occasion d'aborder ce sujet récemment avec le président de la MBZ, F. Traen, qui nous a développé son point de vue sur la question.
  • Les Pays-Bas lancent un nouveau programme de shift modal
    Dans son discours à l'occasion du Salon du Véhicule utilitaire RAI 2000 à Amsterdam, la ministre néerlandaise des Transports Tineke Netelenbos a annoncé qu'un nouveau programme visant à promouvoir le shift modal sera lancé prochainement sous le label "Transactie Modal Shift". Il s'agit de la création d'un bureau d'études qui aidera les entreprises à réaliser un transfert de leurs trafics de la route vers le rail ou l'eau. Un "modal shift scan", qui analyse les activités d'une entreprise pour déterminer si elle est susceptible d'opérer un tel transfert et si elle tirerait profit d'une telle opération, a déjà été mis au point. Une centaine d'entreprises ont déjà été "scannées" et se sont vu proposer des solutions qui ont résulté en des économies de 7 à 12%.
