
Today the Authority of Harbour System of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea has introduced in Management Committee the formative plan 2026-2028, according to which the agency will put to disposition 500 thousand euros per year for the triennial in support of the professional formation in the authorized enterprises ex articles 16, 17 and 18 of the framework law. The financial cover of strategic business projects is guaranteed by the funds of article 17 (comma 15-bis) of law 84/94, which allows to withdraw up to 15% of the proceeds of port taxes.
The plan develops on six strategic intervention axes that concern digitization for the engineering of management processes, the circular economy applied to ports, team building, the efficiency of traditional and new generation plants, the improvement of safety at work and the learning of a technical-port foreign language.
The objective of the measure is to promote in the ports of competence an increase and a diversification of the competences of the harbour workers in order to strengthen their professional baggage and favor that flexibility of the job that represents the true added value to increase the productivity. "The technological and energetic evolution, now decisive in the management of the organizational and operating processes - it has emphasized the president of the AdSP, Davide Gariglio - evidences the objective necessity to elevate, improve and diversify the skills of the workers, in order to increase the competitiveness of the entire harbour system".
To access funding for training, the enterprises concerned with the ports of competence of the AdSP will have to submit an application that will have to include a detailed project with the analysis of the needs, the general objectives, the programs of the courses, the number of hours and workers involved, the systems of assessment and the possession of the technical requirements also through the support of accredited training bodies.
