
Costa Cruises has announced a transition to the top management of the
Americas Region: Dario Rustico will leave the company and Jorge
Serrano Martín de Vidales is named the new Americas
Region director. In his new role, Jorge will respond
directly to Luigi Stefanelli, vice president of Worldwide Sales, and
will lead commercial strategy and business development
of Costa for the North and South America area. The cruise line
announced that Jorge's appointment follows the decision of
Dario Rustico to leave Costa Cruises, starting from the next 14
September, to devote himself to personal goals outside
of the company, after more than two decades of exemplary service. Jorge
Serrano Martín de Vidales, currently at the helm of the
Trade Costa sales in Spain and Portugal, will hire
formally his new role in January 2027, once completed
the transfer to Costa's offices in Brazil. Up to
then, the Americas Region team will respond directly
to Luigi Stefanelli.
