The consortium Vémars (Venice Maritime School) has enabled 12 new students mates who , former Director of Planning and Finance of the Port of Venice.

The students were able to carry a full course of training that will lead them to be taken up, in the coming months, with a gross tonnage of merchant ships above 3,000 tons. The course - composed of modules of lectures and training at sea - was also completed with a cinematic form and ship with an electronic chart of the most advanced naval simulator in Europe.
The Consortium Vémars began his training activities and training in 2006 and consists dall'ACTV Spa (Transport Company of Venice), Venice Port Authority and the management company and ship security consulting SSMC Snc. The consortium has been accredited by the Veneto Region for the further and higher education and is the first national public-private center to be authorized in March 2009 by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport to carry out the alignment module designed to DM 11/30/2007 graduates holding a diploma from high school cycle II.
