The Association of Italian Ports (Assoporti) has signed an agreement for the implementation of studies and searches for Southern Studies and Research (SRM), an association owned by Intesa Sanpaolo Banco di Napoli, Banca BIIS, IMI Investments, Bank of Sardo Credit Bank of Naples and Institute Foundation.
The protocol, signed by the president of the Association of Port Authorities Italian, Francesco Nerli, and the Director General of SRM, Massimo Deandreis, aims to create an important synergy between the main representatives of port infrastructure and ensuring the research analysis approach that will highlight the economic and territorial problems and opportunities in the industry.

Within this portal, Assoporti will have a specific section of their own development with a vision of Mediterranean ports will be reflected in a product designed with the periodic study. Data, information and findings will be available on the websites of Assoporti, SRM and SRM-MED from next September.
