Shipping Honored GNV and have ordered four ships ro-pax to Chinese ship yard GSI



The Shipping Italians Honored and GNV (group MSC) have ordered to the construction of four ships for passengers and rotabili, with propulsion that could be fed with liquified natural gas, to the Chinese ship yard Guangzhou Shipyard International Company Limited (GSI) of the group Lower Are Shipbuilding Corporation Limited (CSSC). The contract previews moreover the possibility to opzionare the ulterior construction of other four twin units ro-pax of last generation, of which two destined to the Honored family and remaining to GNV.

The new ferries will have an ability until 2.500 people between passengers and crew and of 3.765 linear meters of rotabili cargos and will have a speed of 25 knots.

Announcing that before the two new ships for Honored Shipping he will be taken in delivery by April 2021, the Achille Onorato shipowner has emphasized that with the contract which signed yesterday to Beijing with yards GSI "an ulterior step is completed for a long time towards that process begun of being able to offer to our customers goods and passengers the best Network than departures with young means, efficient and to low environmental impact.
