Taxation of port authorities, anCIP urges Minister De Micheli to take action with the EU

Recalling that a similar decision relates to the taxation of Italy, an ANCIP recalled that it had always supported misjudgment of the Directorate-General for Competition "which- explained the association - would like generically equating our Port System Authorities with companies and, therefore, demand the payment of tax from them (IRES) and that the current "exemption" would be a selective advantage enjoyed by the same institutions in the unspecified subjects. We reiterated this strongly - also recalled the ANCIP in a note signed by the President Luca Grilli - both with our delegation in Brussels last November 19th with both a long and detailed note sent 14 February c.a. to the Commission itself, that AdSPs are entities non-economic public for which it is not even conceivable the passage under private control, as well as the Regions and every local authority, and to which ex lege is barred of all economic activity including the provision of services exemption to the payment of the IRES is applied to the port authorities. all public administrations, including public bodies non-economic of national importance.'
