
The French AXSMarine announced that yesterday the Strait of Hormuz
has been crossed by 42 commercial ships, of which 30 in
exit from the Persian Gulf and 12 incoming. The company, which
provides software and intelligence services to the maritime sector, has
specified that yesterday, for the first time since the beginning of the conflict
between the USA/Israel and Iran, several LNG carriers also passed through
entering the Persian Gulf.
AXSMarine found that between 18 and 22 June
therefore an average of 29.2 crossings of the Strait occurred
compared to 4.9 per day recorded in the first 17 days of the month and
to 7.0 per day in March. The company highlighted that it
however, it only accounts for 27% of the naval transits of the
pre-war which was about 110 crossings per day, but
represents the most significant recovery since the beginning of the
