Panalpina Autriche sera divisé en Panalpina Air & Ocean et Panalpina Transport terrestre. Cette dernière division sera vendue. Selon le directeur Fiegel de Panalpina Autriche, les activités de transport routier sont bien trop déficitaires en Autriche. La division terrestre ne cadreen outre plus dans la stratégie du groupe, principalement axée sur des concepts logistiques globaux, où le transport routier joue un rôle de deuxième plan.
