    Tristar Shipping Lines of Pakistan is in turmoil following the arrest of two of the company s leading figures over alleged illegal financial practices. Massood Baghpatee (inset) and his brother Mansoor face allegations that they cheated their banks. They are languishing in jail while the government investigation continues and a panel of banks runs the company s affairs. Such is the state of confusion that two of Tristar s bulkers have been prevented from sailing from Karachi. The company has been suffering in the poor dry bulk market and the charges come hard on the heels of the forced sale of one of Tristar s ships to settle unpaid debts.
