Si un mode de transport est plus justifiable et exige des dispositions particulières, comme le rail par exemple, qui en Europe s'impose pour les longues distances, nous pourrions investir dans des wagons. Ce qui est certain, c'est que nous voulons avoir une participation plus importante sur la scène logistique européenne, pour ce qui est de notre secteur". C'est ainsi que Ingar Skaug, président et CEO de Wilhelmsen Lines et CEO du nouvel armement Wallenius Wilhelmsen Lines, a résumé la philosophie qui présidera à l'évolutioin de cette nouvelle entité, philosophie qui est en fait celle que pratique depuis quelques années le partenaire suédois.
