  • ECT Duisburg: premier terminal d'un reseau
    Le port rhénan allemand Duisbourg est enrichi d'un troisième terminal à containers. La ministre néerlandaise de Transport T. Netelenbos a inauguré solennellement le terminal d'une superficie de 5 ha en présence d'un grand nombre de personnalités éminentes à Südhafen, mercredi après-midi. Avec ce premier terminal en Allemagne, ECT souhaite offrir à ses clients la possibilité d'acheminer des containers directement vers un port dans l'arrière-pays avec des liaisons trimodales. Ceci devrait contribuer à l'allègement des sites à containers au port de Rotterdam.
  • DFDS Dan Transport reprend une division deDeugro
    La reprise annoncée pour cette semaine par le groupe de transport danois DFDS Dan Transport en Allemagne (voir LL du 24/8/99) est quasiment bouclée. Le groupe a en effet signé une déclaration d'intention pour la reprise des divisions logistiques et de transport de Deugro Carl E. Press GmbH & Co Logistics (Francfort). Via cette reprise, DFDS Dan Transport devient en outre actionnaire de CLI International, une association de 21 expéditeurs allemands indépendants. Un accord de coopération a été atteint avec cette association, de sorte que le réseau européen est enfin un fait.
