  • Slow Down? Fast Ferry Demand May Hit Lull
Construction of so-called fast ferries, one of the most dynamic sectors for the shipbuilding industry in recent years, will decline because of the Asian crisis but should return to previous high levels by 2005, a new report said. New vessel building volumes are expected to decline in 1999 and 2000 due largely to the impact of the Asia economic crisis, analysts Ocean Shipping Consultants Ltd. said.
  • Kvaerner May Owe Germany Money
