C’est également IFB qui s’est installée sur le terminal à containers du port Ouest de Dunkerque, qui relèvera d’un seul opérateur constitué à 40% par le port autonome français et NFTI (90% IFB-10%CNC) pour 60%, cette dernière entité assurant la gestion. D’autre part, c’est la SNCB elle même qui a pris une participation de 33% dans la société constituée avec la Noord Natie (67%) pour l’exploitation du Noordzee Terminal, le deuxième terminal à containers à marée dont dispose pour l’instant le port d’Anvers.
  • “Choc du gazole”: l’impact réel sur le transport routier
    Au 1er juillet 2000 et par rapport au 1er janvier 1999, donc sur une période dix-huit mois, le coût (prix de revient) du transport routier de marchandises (TRM) a subi en France une hausse comprise entre 10,7 et 12,7%. On a souvent évoqué à ce propos l’impact de mesures spécifiquement françaises comme les 35 heures et diverses autres avancées sociales. Pourtant, durant la même période, le coût du TRM a connu des hausses du même ordre de grandeur dans bon nombre de pays voisins. Analyse de ce qui est imputable au cas français et de ce qui revient au renchérissement des prix du gazole.

    Comme on pouvait s’y attendre, le groupe français Mory Team a élargi sa joint-venture avec le prestataire de services américain Circle, créée en mars sous le nom de Mory Circle, à EGL, qui a repris Circle cet été. Au début du mois, une nouvelle joint-venture, dans laquelle les deux partenaires détiennent une participation égale, a été fondée sous le nom de Mory EGL. Alors que Mory, par son alliance avec Circle, pouvait développer ses activités principalement dans le maritime, celle avec EGL permettra de poursuivre la diversification vers le fret aérien. Ou comment un groupe français, s’étant vu forcer de céder ses activités dans l’expédition de fret aérien et maritime, peut grandir...
