    Des divergences internes au sein de la Commission européenne ont à nouveau empêché la publication annoncée du Libre blanc sur la politique de transport européenne pour les années à venir. La Commissaire Loyola de Palacio (Transports) souhaitait faire approuver le Livre blanc, qui a été reporté à plusieurs reprises déjà, le 27 juin durant la réunion hebdomadaire de la Commission. Cela s’est avéré impossible suite à des dissensions. Il faudra probablement attendre “trois semaines ou plus, voire la fin des vacances d’été”, nous a déclaré un porte-parole de l’UE vendredi après-midi. Les directorats-généraux “Environnement” et “Marché Interne” se retrouvent face à face, tandis que le DG Transports se positionne entre les deux.

    La chute des taux sur la route Europe/sous-continent indien va-t-elle enfin s’arrêter? Sur le marché, on parle actuellement d’une tendance à la stabilisation, mais à quels niveaux? Nous enregistrons des taux qui vont de 600 à 800 dollars par TEU. Une fois de plus, la plupart des acteurs souhaitent une stabilisation, mais il y en a toujours l’un ou l’autre qui pratique une politique commerciale différente. Toujours est-il qu’en l’espace de quelques mois, les taux de fret ont chuté de plus de 50%. Comment en est-on arrivé là?
  • Trafics de l’aéronautique: une belle percée de Danzas
    “Notre organisation spécialisée a été bâtie à l’image de celle des clients concernés. Les deux sont ainsi parfaitement en phase. C’est pourquoi, tant pour le secteur civil que celui de la défense et les interventions mixtes, nous offrons au niveau mondial une structure vraiment spécialisée”, explique Didier Purrey, directeur du Département Marchés Aéronautiques/Aerospace au sein du Groupe Danzas. Résultat: cette activité lancée en 1998 a déjà atteint les 100 millions de FRF (15,24 millions d’EUR) de facturation par an. Histoire d’une belle percée sur un marché à haute valeur ajoutée.

    Les tentatives pour mettre en place un nouveau Cargo Agency Agreement, n’ont jusqu’ici pas abouti. Les discussions à ce sujet entre l’IATA, qui représente les compagnies aériennes, et la FIATA, qui intervient comme le porte-parole des expéditeurs, battent toujours leur plein. Mais le temps presse. Herman Donker, président du groupe de travail autour du Cargo Agency Programme de la FIATA, parle même de discussions de la dernière chance.
