    L’association flamande de transporteurs a pris l’initiative de lancer une campagne d’information sur la sécurité routière dans les écoles primaires flamandes. Cette campagne est destinée plus particulièrement à sensibiliser les enfants au fait que, bien souvent, ils se mettent eux-mêmes en danger de mort en se plaçant sans le vouloir dans l’angle mort des camions. Aussi le message est-il: “faites-vous voir pour être vus”. Par cette campagne, le secteur fait preuve d’une très grande maturité, car la SAV y va de sa poche pour cette campagne. Comprenne qui pourra: le ministère flamand de l’Enseignement intervient pour zéro fanc dans le financement de cette campagne. Parallèlement, une campagne de sensibilisation des chauffeurs sera lancée, mais celle-ci doit encore faire l’objet d’un débat au sein du Fonds Social du Transport Routier, qui réunit les organisations de transporteurs et les syndicats de chauffeurs.
