En l’occurence, la loi de 1999 sera modifiée, avec la suppression de l’amendement qui avait été adopté in extremis à l’époque et qui ajoutait le fameux terme “sciemment” au texte. Par ailleurs, elle a annoncé qu’une concertation va être entamée visant une réforme du contrôle technique pour les camions.
  • CMA CGM s’apprête à réduire la capacité sur le Pacifique
    Actuellement se poursuivent à Shanghai des pourparlers entre CMA CGM et China Shipping en vue de réduire la capacité sur le secteur du transpacifique où la situation s’est considérablement déterriorée aux niveaux des taux et des volumes. Ainsi, le projet d’un sixième loop qui avait été élaboré entre ces deux partenaires en mars dernier est reporté à une date ultérieure. Ce service devait être axé sur les desserte Chine, Japon, côte ouest des USA. D’autre part, ainsi que nous l’a confirmé le président de CMA CGM, Tristan Vieljeux, les discussions en cours portent sur la manière de ramener de 5 à 4 le nombre des loops, tout en maintenant les mêmes dessertes. “Plusieurs hypothèses sont possibles et les discussions sont dans un stade avancé”, nous a-t-il dit en précisant qu’il était devenu nécessaire de réduire la capacité.

    Lors du dernier conseil d’administration de la SNCB, l’administrateur délégué E. Schouppe a développé un aspect de sa stratégie, qui implique le renforcement des liens avec les ports que sont Zeebrugge et Anvers. Dans le premier port cité, il est question, on le sait, d’implanter un “port sec” pour trafic containérisé. Dans le cas d’Anvers où la filliale IFB développe rapidement son nouvel outil, le “Main Hub”, l’objectif annoncé consiste à porter la participation détenue dans la société fusionnée Hesse Noord Natie, actuellement de 6% via la participation de 33% dans le Noordzeeterminal/Noord Natie, à 20%.

    Le Parlement européen a approuvé l’accord conclu entre l’Union européenne et la Roumanie concernant le transport routier de marchandises et l’activation du transport combiné. Cet accord doit stimuler le trafic de transit via ce pays par l’échange mutuel de licences de transit pour le transport de marchandises par la route, ce qui résultera en une augmentation du nombre de transports. L’UE obtiendra 14.000 licences par an de la Roumanie. Chaque licence vaut pour un trajet de transit aller/retour. Le Conseil des ministres européens du Transport décidera bientôt de la répartition de ces 14.000 licences sur les Etats-membres. Les licences en question complètent les licences déjà délivrées dans le cadre des accords bilatéraux entre les divers Etats-membres et la Roumanie. Les dispositions de ces accords bilatéraux restent en vigueur.
