    Le CA (net) de Koninkljke Frans Maas Groep (FM) a augmenté de 35% à 942,1 mio. d’EUR (plus de 2 mia. de NLG) l’année dernière. Le résultat net a progressé de 10% à 18,4 mio. d’EUR, le résultat d’exploitation de 13% à 31,6 mio. d’EUR. Selon Henk Benjamins, le président du groupe logistique et d’expédition néerlandais, 2000 a été “une année difficile mais couronnée de succès, avec une croissance sensible mais saine à la clé”. La hausse du CA s’est fait en partie de manière autonome (43%) et en partie via des acquisitions (57%). Pour cette année, il table sur une nouvelle croissance, avec l’accent sur une hausse de la profitabilité. A moyen terme, il estime que la croissance sera principalement générée par l’Europe de l’Est et FM s’attache en conséquence à développer son réseau dans cette région. Ainsi, l’entreprise a pris le contrôle de deux entreprises bulgares en début de mois.
