La rentabilité moyenne dans le transport international a été de -0,8%, et celle dans le transport national de +0,8%. Dans ces chiffres, l’impact de la mauvaise performance des petites entreprises est déterminant. Les grandes entreprises sont les seules à dégager des bénéfices plus ou moins acceptables. Pour 2001, une petite embellie est prévue, mais le niveau moyen de rentabilité demeurera mauvais. C’est ce qui ressort d’une analyse de divers rapports de l’institut de recherche néerlandais NEA, publiée dans l’hebdomadaire de l’association Transport en Logistiek Nederland.
