Si l’on inclut les ports privés, le total du port de Liège devrait probablement encore augmenter de quelque sept millions de tonnes. Le transport par eau s’est très bien comporté. Il a été le seul vecteur de transport traditionnel à progresser à Liège.

    La météo des activités portuaires est décidément très changeante à Marseille. La fin de l’année 2001 avait été marquée par un long conflit social et 2002 avait mal commencé avec l’annonce d’un retour des finances dans le rouge. Mais les dirigeants du Port autonome de Marseille (PAM) gardaient un succès appréciable dans leur manche. Ils viennent d’annoncer que les 35 hectares déjà viabilisés qui constituent la première tranche de la zone logistique Fos-Distriport, sont totalement commercialisés, c’est-à-dire loués ou vendus.

    Le salon du véhicule utilitaire d’Amsterdam ouvre ses portes ce jeudi au complexe RAI. Hier, lors de la journée de presse, il y a bien eu quelques conférences de presse de la part de certains constructeurs, mais force est de constater qu’il n’y a pas eu de déclarations fracassantes. Même sur l’ampleur de la baisse prévue du marché du camion, c’était la prudence et la discrétion. Manifestement, les différentes marques ne savent pas sur quel pied danser. Elles ne se prononcent pas davantage sur l’éventualité d’une guerre des prix. Au contraire, certains constructeurs prévoient que cette année, il y aura une hausse des prix.
