De surcroît, le résultat dexploitation est passé à 6,3 millions dEUR en 2001, soit +85,3% par rapport aux 3,4 millions dEUR de lannée 2000. Face à de tels résultats, on comprend que Jacques de Chateauvieux, président du Groupe Bourbon souhaite accélérer en transport de vracs. Ce qui le conduit notamment à envisager lachat de navires atteignant 55.000 tpl (tonnes de port en lourd).
