On ne connaît pas encore les raisons qui ont milité en faveur de cette décision, mais on peut logiquement supposer qu’en tant que “petit acteur” sur la scène du liner est-ouest et compte tenu des résultats financiers dérisoires que le grand groupe chinois génère dans ce secteur, les responsables ont jugé préférable d’arrêter les frais et de mieux se concentrer sur leurs activités de base, qui se situent dans le domaine de l’expédition.

    L’entreprise chimique suisse Ciba Specialty Chemicals, dont le siège principal est implanté à Bâle, a conclu un accord avec le prestataire de services logistiques Danzas pour la gestion de son réseau de transport mondial. En ayant recours à la sous-traitance de son management logistique, Ciba espère pouvoir réduire ses coûts dans ce domaine d’une façon substantielle.
