    Schenker, filiale de Stinnes Logistics, a développé trois nouveaux produits logistiques pour son transport terrestre européen, devant accroître la fiabilité du planning logistique et de la gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement. A l’instar des produits à délais définis dans le secteur du fret aérien, le groupe logistique introduit le même concept pour les livraisons terrestres. Schenker n’envoie pas de facture au client lorsqu’elle ne délivre pas la marchandise dans les délais garantis.
  • USA/Europe et sécurité: des précisions qui s’imposent...
    Depuis quelques jours, les communautés maritimes et portuaires européennes, plus particulièrement en Belgique, sont en émoi suite aux dispositions que les Américains souhaitent obtenir des pays dont ils importent des marchandises par voie maritime, et qui consistent à contrôler les containers avant embarquement. C’est la ministre fédérale belge Annemie Neyts qui a attiré l’attention sur ce problème en déclarant que “l’avenir des ports de mer belges était menacé par les proposition américaines en matière de sécurité et qu’une dizaine de ports seulement de par le monde auraient l’exclusivité du trafic à destination des Etats-Unis”... Nous sommes en possession du discours prononcé le 4 février dernier par le Commissaire américain aux douanes Robert C. Bonner, lors de la conférence annuelle de l’Association américaine des exportateurs et importateurs, et sommes arrivés à la conclusion que la ministre a manifestement mal interprété certains passages de l’allocution.
