A peine 24h plus tard le navire a quitté le port scaldien après le déchargement de 900 containers et le chargement de 1.600 containers à bord de l’unité de 6.160 TEU, qui a été alignée une seule fois sur le B-loop de la Grand Alliance.

    Le constructeur américain indépendant de camions Navistar a revu à la baisse ses prévisions pour l’ensemble du marché du camion cette année. Il l’a fait à l’occasion de la publication de ses résultats financiers pour le premier trimestre comptable, qui ont affiché une perte de 56 mio. de USD (contre 35 mio. un an auparavant). Selon le constructeur (qui commercialise ses camions sous la marque International), le marché demeurera déprimé cette année en raison de la poursuite de la baisse dans le secteur des poids lourds et de la faiblesse de la demande dans celui des moyens tonnages.

    Ce n’est pas parce que KPMG a remis son rapport concernant les différences entre experts néerlandais et belges sur les estimations des coûts pour des travaux au Rhin d’Acier que tout est réglé, loin s’en faut. Premièrement, l’étude semble bien se garder de “désigner un vainqueur”, et les communiqués ministériels officiels sont d’ailleurs muets. Deuxièmement et surtout, c’est sur le principe même des coûteux ouvrages d’art qu’il y a problème: tant la SNCB que surtout le port d’Anvers y sont opposés.
