Le lancement la semaine dernière au chantier naval danois Orskov Staalkibværft du puissant remorqueur “Union Manta”, a été l’occasion pour la direction de faire le point sur l’évolution de l’entreprise, qui a renoué avec les chiffres noirs et consolide désormais ses positions. En effet, à l’issue du premier semestre de l’exercice en cours, le CA de 24,76 mio. d’euros (inférieur de 50% par rapport à 1997) a laissé un résultat positif de 3,4 mio. d’euros tandis que le cash flow se situait à 7,12 mio. d’euros. Pour la fin de l’année, ces résultats devraient se présenter comme suit: respectivement 48,42 mio. d’euros, 6,34 (bénéfice doublé par rapport à 2001) et 12,86 mio. L’heure est au renouvellement et au renforcement des moyens d’actions, ce qui implique, en dehors du remorqueur précité, un programme d’investissements de 112 mio. d’euros à répartir sur 5 ans et que l’URS financera en grande partie avec ses propres moyens.
