    SINGAPORE has ratified what will become the first international Bill of Rights for seafarers. It is the first in Asia to commit to the provisions of the Maritime Labour Convention, 2006, which sets out minimum standards and fair working conditions for seafarers worldwide.

  • Baltic index hits 3-week low on slow China demand

Brokers said cargo volume was being driven by the smaller panamax bulkers especially on thermal coal trades to Asia.
