Today in the area behind the port of Vado Ligure was inaugurated a new plant for handling, storage and processing of green coffee by Pacorini Silocaf, structure which, with 84 cells of diversified capacity able to store different qualities of raw material for about 27,000 tons, is the largest in the world for this type of goods.
The silo is the result of redesign and redevelopment of a disused structure since 2012 and the plant is equipped to offer a plurality of processes on the raw coffee. In addition, the silo allows you to offer services that go beyond typical logistics activities, including quality control, cleaning, polishing and mixing.
"Today - underlined Roberto Pacorini, president and CEO of the Pacorini group - we inaugurate the silo dedicated to the largest and most modern green coffee in the world, equal only to its twin in New Orleans. We are sure that, through this project, Vado Ligure will become so the most important reference point in the Mediterranean for the coffee traffic'.
