Agreement in order to develop the railway connection Bologna Interporto - Bari



The Authority of Harbour System of Mare Adriatico Meridionale and the Interporto of Bologna has undersigned an agreement of collaboration of the duration of a year face to develop the railway relation Bologna Interporto - Bari Scalo Ferruccio - Brindisi Porto, using the existing railway infrastructure near the port of Brindisi.

The document, signed this morning in the center of Bari of the AdSP from the president of the harbour agency, Ugo Patroni Griffi, and from the director of Interporto Bologna, Sergio Crespi, previews the development and the promotion of the current train of transport arranged not accompanied on the draft Bologna Interporto - Bari Scalo Ferruccio, extending it to Brindisi Porto is on the director north-south that on that south-north; new national and international partnerships; support and sharing of logistic acquaintances, based on the adoption of models of innovative businesses and process; development of other railway services; study of a range of facilities offering to the suppliers of logistics and the producers falling back in the basin of user.

"The logistic-railway section, unfortunately far from standard and traffics of other European countries - it has found the president of the AdSP of Mare Adriatico Meridionale - needs greater availability of the terminalizzazione services on the territory. This will carry faster connections, decongesting the Italian roads from the traffic on rubber and will seal the geographically strategic role of hub of the ports of Bari and Brindisi, in the national and international connections".
