
In the first half of 2026, the Port of Singapore handled
307.9 million tons of goods, with an increase of +2.4%
on the first half of last year, which was
driven by the new historical records of six-monthly traffic in the
conventional and non-oil bulk goods
16.9 million (+13.5%) and 19.0 million tonnes respectively
(+22,7%). Traffic of
which amounted to 186.5 million tons
(+3.2%) with a container handling of 22.7 million
TEU (+4.7%). Oil bulk fell by -4.5% to 85.5
million tons.
In the first half of this year, bunker sales in the
Asian port reached a record share of over 28.2 million
of tonnes (+4.7%), mainly of which 13.9 million tonnes
tons of low-sulfur LSFO fuel supplies
(+0.4%), 11.5 million tonnes of marine fuel oil (+13.2%) and
2.0 million tonnes of low-content LSMGO marine diesel
of sulphur (+6.9%).
In the second quarter of 2026 alone, the Port of Singapore
handled a total of 151.2 million tons of goods,
with a decrease of -0.9% over the same period in 2025, which is
was determined by the reduction in oil traffic which has
fell to 40.7 million tons (-8.4%). Containerized goods
amounted to 94.1 million tonnes (+1.4%) with a
container handling of 11.5 million TEUs (+3.3%). In
Conventional goods also increased with 7.7 million tons
(+2.2%) and non-oil bulk cargo with 8.7 million tons
(+12,0%).
